Students of pedagogical universities, teachers, tutors.

Aim of the project

The goal of the project is to show that learning and shaping skills set can take place not only in traditional places as school, and universities but in other places that can be augmented by digital tools

Discussion of the project

The project helps a person to become aware of his learning in very unexpected place. Due to mobile technologies we can enlarge limits of learning, to find new sources of knowledge, inspiration and connect gadgets and real life. During the project it’s participants will create together the multi-authored book where they decsribe experience and cases of organizing learning in different places, small “bricks” of knowledge and recollections connected about it.

Difficulties

Teachers wish to be as perfect as possible. They try to create the best page on they own computers and only after some days of working they publish new pages for common discussion. It was not easy for participants to understand and used powerful mechanism of template in MediaWiki. Users tend to copy and paste full content of the page and then edit it. We need to make additional efforts to make clear for user understanding templates and whole idea that content and design can be stored separately.

Components of success

All project activities were linked with personal teachers practice and with specific places where they have made they own learning and teaching experience. Wiki help them to collect and share their teaching experience in the form of hypermedia book with a lot of graph, images, videos and personal notes.
