Tatiana Nikolaevna Baramzina (born December 12, 1919 — died July 5, 1944)

Baramzina Tatiana Nikolaevna was born on the 19 of December in 1919 in Glazov in the family of a worker. Tatiana finished incomplete secondary school (only seven forms) and a Glazov Pedagogical Vocational College, then she worked as a teacher in several schools of Glazov districts for a few years. In 1940 she had entered in the Perm State Teacher Training Institute, simultaneously she started to work as a mistress in a kinder-garden. Baramzina also finished a school of nurses. 

When the war began, Tatiana had been studying in a school of nurses, but in 1943 she made up her mind to voluntary join to the ranks of the Red Army and was sent to the school of snipers. In 1944 Tatiana finished a Central School of Snipers. Indeed, she was an excellent sniper.

From April of 1944 Tatiana was at the front for the first time. The 5 of July this brave woman was joined the rear of enemy to perform a fighting task where she, luckily, annihilated twenty hitlerites from a sniper rifle. Unfortunately, Tatiana had to get the feel of the new work-to become an operator because of the sharply worsen sight. In 1944 during the breakage at village of Malaya Morozova, she repaired the telephone service fourteen times.

Once, when Tatiana was in the refuge she was giving the help to the indigents, hitlerites burst into the place. The girl shot up to the last cartridge but she was caught by the enemies. Tatiana was put to the tortures but she did not grass up the military secret. Then they decided to kill her with the help of an anti-tank rifle and prick out her eyes. The status of a hero of the Soviet Union was confermented on the 25 of March in 1945. She also had Lenin’s order for her special deserts to the Soviet Union.

Tatiana died at the age of twenty five years. She was buried in Minsk region in Kalita village. In Minsk, Glazov and Izhevsk a few streets are named in honour of Tatiana Nikolaevna Baramzina. It should be mentioned that, some monuments are erected either at that place where she died or at her native town.Файл:180px-Boromsina.jpg
